Roots and Fire is inspired to make music that people can draw strength and happiness from. In the past few years they have toured extensively, taking breaks in between to create. Roots and Fire has been working hard in the studio to get that classic roots reggae sound loved worldwide. In its raw state, the music is strong and vital...pure love and consciousness. Over the years the group has shared the stage with many great artists, including: The Meditations, Damien Marley, Burning Spear, and Israel Vibration. Most recently Roots and Fire backed reggae and dancehall artist Jr. Toots, the son of legendary singer Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals. "It was an amazing time, his spirit was blazing through his music and through him...on and off the stage.” Roots and Fire will continue working with this inspiring person and artist in the future. Ryan Spinharney has been the primary producer and overseer of the music, but so much credit is due to the contributions of talented and patient musicians. Bringing their individual passion and commitment to Roots and Fire music, the artists’ flavor in the music shines. Currently, Roots and Fire is touring in the Rocky Mountain region and bringing with them the Virgin Islands newest sensation, Nuby Dan. “Nuby” is a young and driven Roots and Dancehall reggae artist with a lot of fire to burn. Presently his latest single 'Close to you' is blazing up radio airwaves in the Virgin Islands. Roots and Fire Massive is currently working in the studio on two full length albums, to be released in 2007/08.
