Everything.... We all share common influences, but we were raised on different types of music, so we each have unique stylistic preferences. We come together blending all of our styles.
Roots Down Below is a cross genre, original band that IS the heart of the youth culture movement. Since the fall of 2003, they have continuously delivered over 1000 high energetic live performances throughout respected venues. They also tour the Caribbean yearly.
Through their dynamic lyrics, RDB confronts worldwide issues by presenting an unbias view that is informative and easy to consume. They encourage their listeners to evaluate one..s lifestyle and daily habits and the effects they have on our world. They believe this reflection is enough to spark the fire inside to empower our generation for positive change. This hard to influence, and even harder to impress youth generation, appreciates this direct, honest approach and are intrigued to listen and support. Through this, Roots Down Below have consistently built a loyal following and online fanbase who promotes their musical vibe and positive message. Their music serves as a unique platform that speaks to the younger generation who work towards human harmony with nature, and believe in the unification of all people. Their success over the past 6 years, have made Roots Down Below one of the most well known, influential underground bands of New England. ********************************************************
Roots Down Below has supported many national acts including: Toots and The Maytals,The Wailers, Rusted Root , Burning Spear, Eek A Mouse, Long Beach Short Bus, Slightly Stoopid,The Streetdogs, Yellow Man, Maxi Priest, Sage Francis, Zox, State Radio, Pete francais, Monty Are I, Shootyz Groove, Barrington Levy,Naughty by Nature, Mikey Dread, Entrain and even backed reggae legend Yami Bolo.
Roots Down Below has been touring New England for Summer 2009 and has big plans for the Winter.

As hard as I try, I can't seem to erase you from my mind. Search his eyes for a reflection of your heart. Imagination engulfing reality. His hands embrace me. I close my eyes and feel you. If only this distance weren't so prodigious. My heart longing only to be beside you. A love so inaccessible. Relying only on Faith. A love so unyielding. It will never surrender. Although I kiss you goodbye, My heart will never cease to be enraptured by you.
