    Roots Oracle are a dynamic 5 piece band based in Mid-Wales, who write, record and perform their own original material. The band draw their influences from the worlds of reggae, ska and afro-beat, as well as from more contemporary singer-songwriters and artists. The resulting songs are varied in style and mood, ranging from mellow acoustic, to good time danceable ska tunes - with a bit of heavy dub thrown in along the way. Since forming in 2007 the band have gigged both locally and as far afield as Scotland, Kent and Cornwall. Their debut album, titled ' The Roots of Life', is released on i-tunes and Juno Download on the 1st of November 2010
