About me: Wontanara! Akwaaba! Ekaaro! Salaam! And Peace to everyone! I am a pan-afrikanist and I am about returning 2 the birth of my ancestors and laying these bones back from whence they came. I hope this finds you in good health and in good spirits. I am a child of the African Diaspora of Balanta Ancestry who is trying to reflect the truth and light of my ancestors always. I am an all around artist. I have been trained in Guinea style west African drumming and have performed for so so many events and people too many to name. I have learned from Abubakr Kouyate and Mohamed Diaby of him I owe so much. I have also been blessed with the gift of bringing the spirits out of wood through my carving so that others may know them. I have dedicated my life to connecting people with their ancestors through my art and drumming. We would not be here if it were not for our ancestors. I have been initiated into some African spiritual systems of which in Ifa I am a child of Ajaguna Obatala. I have also been blessed on my life journey with the love and compliment of my life Rhonda.
