Rope Swing Cities is a netlabel/record label launched in September of 2005. Not wishing to be pigeonholed into one genre, Rope Swing Cities instead embodies a musical aesthetic of movement, change, nostalgia and emotion. By offering diverse sounds, ranging from folk rock, to ambient, idm, and minimal techno, Rope Swing Cities hopes to accompany you on all of your journeys, be they introspective hikes through the streets of your home town, quiet evenings at home, or sweaty nights in the club. We hope you enjoy the sounds of the Rope Swing Cities family of artists!
This is the first album for Simone on Chew-Z and it is the first episode on a series of releases called Stock Options: a journey in retrieving and re-editing old songs, raw sounds in a new way.
Fighting Back The Tears is our hit for the summer: happy IDM and some acid trips :)
