Rop Ferendez - real name "Rex Teo" is just a 20-year-old kid. He has a simple and kiddish mindset that is always curious to find interesting and fascinating relating to life. Ever since knowing there's a new course during his Secondary School days, he wished to pursue this diploma and to start learning music and it's production officially.

This course is none other than "Diploma in Music & Audio Technology". A 3 year course of learning both music and it's production was a tough time for Rop. Finding his genre/kind of music became a path he took during these 3 years. Revolving around the Pop genre, he adventured in Hip-Hop, Rap, Light Hip-Hop/Rap, and mainly Pop as well. Slowly, he seeped into the R&B and Pop genres, became Rop.

Lastly, Rop had found his own sound, setting aside the music genre, and what made Rop different from the rest is a DSP used - Autotune. Despite the fact of there are many Autotune users out there in the music scene, Rop will still use Autotune effect as to build a signature sound in the scene. To set it different from other Autotune users, Rop wished to deliver his songs through simple yet nice lines of melodies, in a big umbrella of the Pop genre. That's why his songs are not really full-100%-R&B-HipHop, but with the full use of Autotune.
