Photography, following my favourite bands, railway signalling, gardening, and reading about social and scientific matters eg politics, philosophy, economics, fundamental physics.
Music
Progressive rock; pagan/goth influences; some classical, folk etc; but very eclectic even within these groupings. See my Bands page.
Movies
Old Star Trek movies, whodunnits, etc. Very few contemporary - I did watch Lord of the Rings but before that nothing since Trainspotting.
Television
Live sport eg Rugby Union, Cricket, Football. Doctor Who is the only decent contemporary TV show, but I also enjoy whodunnits, classic Sci-Fi such as (the original) Star Trek, and comedy in the Monty Python/Blackadder/Spitting Image mould.
Books
Classic sci-fi, but most commonly leading-edge non-fiction. See my book reviews page...
Heroes
IK Brunel; Albert Einstein; John Lennon; my grandfather who worked on the GWR.

About me:
I'm a big fan of classic (melodic-style) rock music and similar genres, and run a modest personal website which includes features about artists I enjoy most. Music has meant so much to me over the years I wanted to give something back, as most artists are far less well remunerated that I am. My site includes websites for a few local bands I'm fond of. I also enjoy photography and sometimes take gig photos for the site. Other interests include railway signalling and gardening. There's something uniquely relaxing about going home in summer and spending half an hour going round the flower beds - it gets me close to Earth after a day embroiled in technology at the office! I am a very cerebral guy, fascinated about many subjects ranging from fundamental physics to sciences of the mind and human affairs.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with similar interests, musicians whose music I like, and anyone with whom I can have intelligent discussions about life, the universe and everything.
Hi Adrian, Hope everything is sunny with you. Do you have wild plans for gigs, festivals, holiday or just a lazy summer? I'm okay too ;-)
Please have a look at my site; new interviews and great free gossips about David Gilmour.
Hope you have a great week filled with laughs and daffodils, Nick from the lovely South of the Netherlands @ MostlyPink.nl.
PS I'm allowed to give a triple album away, one disc is for the mind, an other is for the campfire and the last is for the candlelight (Mostly Autumn). And a cd from Riverside, the Polish Rockers ;-)
