In 2008, I self released a full-length album called "Cocoon Stew", opened for nationally renowned recording artists, Amos Lee and Matthew Good, completed two U.S. tours, and managed to only have one rather prevalent emotional breakdown.
In 2009, I received the award for “Outstanding Acoustic/Folk Songwriter” in the 18th annual Detroit Music Awards.
“Cocoon Stew” is currently being sold through my website EmilyRoseMusic.Com, Soon to be on I-tunes, and out of my pockets for 8 dollars, although I highly encourage the barter system. I am passionate and involved in spreading eating disorder awareness, and would love to correspond with you if E.D. pertains to your person or organization.
Thank you for visiting, listening, and sharing this moment with me.

branching out, grubbing down, taking stairways down to hell, reestablishing the vanishing point, trying a different bat, a different stance, alter- ing diet and manner of walking, readjusting the system, photographing your dinosaur dream, driving your machine with more grace and care, noticing the flowers talking to you, realizing the gigantic agony of the the terrapin, you pray for rain like an Indian, slide a fresh clip into the automatic, turn out the lights and wait.
