The Rose Bandits is Ozzi the Rose and Teme, both of them born in the year of a rat 72. This is all about acoustic guitars, heart melting melodies, lots of soul, joy and melancholy...the feelings deep inside. The ups and downs of this movie called Life, one could say.
Ozzi, the 21st century cowboy and urban pirate takes this life as a constant trip of searching for the peace. Talking about the peace of heart, soul and mind. Man, can that road be windy sometimes. In the beginning Ozzi played drums, but swapped to a guitar later on. Writing songs, lyrics and stories is something he has done pretty much all his life. Teme has played guitar around 20+ years and written material for quite some time as well. Ozzi and Teme have known each others since 2003. The Rose Bandits was established almost by an accident as a result of series of unplanned incidents 2006, and it's the consequences of this process we are witnessing here. Together with Ozzi's flamboyant, bohemian outlook on life and Teme's slightly more controlled nature
that keeps things tohether and makes things happen is what we have here - a perfect combination!
“Love Drowned In The Sea Of Roses” is the debut album fromThe Rose Bandits and it contains 7 songs which all have been brought to life with much love, pain and emotions. To quote Ozzi The Rose about the songs:
