InfluencesDollar Bill says his greatest influence is "the man" himself Ray Stevens.
Brice Henderson says his influences range from The Beatles to Ernest Tubb.
J3 all agree their greatest musical influences came from Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Patty Loveless and Martina McBride.

Allison Owsley agrees with J3, here heroes are also Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Patsy Loveless and Tanya Tucker. Allison alos loves Martina and performs several of her songs in her show.

Brice Henderson has his own unique rich vocals, his reviews compare him to the Legendary Ray Price or Ernest Tubb.

Rosebud Records Presents Mickey Fortune

Born Mitchell Ray Fortune December 2, in Dresden, TN. His father was in the military so his family moved several times, finally settling in the Elizabethtown, KY area. Mickey started playing the guitar and singing at an early age. By the time he was fifteen, he was performing at the Joel Ray Sprowls, Lincoln jamboree in Hodgesville, KY. He made personal appearances in the area as well as appearing on radio and television programs.

In 1971 he moved to Miami, FL where he worked as a steel guitar player and vocalist in several of the local night clubs, also doing some television and recordings. In 1994 he began writing gospel music, hoping to have his songs recorded by another artist. His mother and his wife encouraged him to record the songs himself. In 1997 he agreed to do so. Mickey contacted long time friend, Roger Ball and asked him to produce the album. Roger agreed to do so and they began setting up the studios, and enlisting the help of the incomparable Ronnie Light as the engineer, also producing the talents of some of the greatest musicians in Nashville.

Mickey performed in church on several occasions, and one of the members referred him to Vera Vanderpool at Rosebud Records. Vera was very interested in the album and agreed to release it on the Rosebud label. Mickey has placed his album in the very capable hands of the lord Jesus, and turned the listening over to the greatest folks in the world, "the fans." his hope is that you will give it a listen and are blessed by it as much as Mickey was recording it.

Mickey's singles have appeared on the following:
What the World Needs Is Jesus,
Amazing Grace ,
Can't You Hear the Savior Calling,
Precious Memories ,
The Door ,
The Family Bible,

Mickey Fortune also had singles released on MACC (Mainly Adult Contemporary Christian) and Macountry. What the World Needs is Jesus MACC November1998 In 2002 Mickey Fortune was voted one of the most played artists in the top 300 mainstream artists in Europe.

Brice Henderson Bio, Rosebud Records

Brice Henderson was born and raised in Maryland; a suburb of Washington, D.C. His mother instilled in him a love for music. From an early age the radio was always on; set to country by his mom or late 50's early 60's rock by his sister. Brice said first he learned to play the radio, then guitar. About that time the Beatles came along."The Beatles changed things for a lot of us, I saw them having so much fun and getting so much attention. I was hooked. I thought this was the life for me!"

After playing in several high school bands and still managing to graduate, Brice moved to Fort Collins Colorado where he became involved in the local club scene. Brice was very well received and worked steadily playing his music. Nashville seemed like a logical extension of that popularity. In 1977 Brice packed up a U-Haul truck and rolled into music row, towing his pickup truck behind him. The first few years were tough for brice. He admits he was very green.

Finally BMI hooked Brice up with Scott Tutt in 1981 and things began to happen. His first album on Union Station yielded 3 top 100 singles. Brice was one of billboard's top ten new country acts in 1983, the same year his son, Paul, was born. Then came the mean lean years. Brice produced a gospel album on himself in 198, then spent the next few years watching and waiting for another music opportunity. That opportunitycame with the formation of Rosebud Records.

Brice has scored seven number ones on MP3.com with the following singles:
Welcome Home
Talk of the Town
Make a Servant of Me
When You Get on the Rock (you get on the roll)
We Will All Rejoice
God's Holy Light
How Great Thou Art

Brice Henderson has appeared on all five Rosebud samplers shipped out across America and to various parts of Europe, and he has charted in more than twenty countries. His single Welcome Home also appeared on Stuart Cameron's hotdisc volume 46 in 2002 and received airplay and charted worldwide.

Brice Henderson also has made numerous appearances on the major radio compilation sampler MACOUNTRY and has appeared alongside Nashville's biggest recording artists, including George Jones, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Rogers, Bryan White, Travis Tritt, Lee Ann Womack and Jp Dee Messinna , just to name a few.

MACOUNTRY singles include:
Welcome Home
Talk of the Town

Brice has appeared on the cover of MACC (Mainly Adult Contemporary Christian) and has appeared on the MACC disc with the hit singles:
How Great Thou Art
God's Holy Light
He Gathers The Lambs
We Will All Rejoice
Talk of the Town

Brice Henderson recorded the duet "You're Not Here" with label mate Allison Owsley in 2006 and it currently appears on her latest Rosebud album "Strong Enough." To listen to this song go to myspace.com/fateshouseofmusic and the Publisher currently has it featured as song of the month for March 2007. Also listed on the same page is his Number One version of How Great Thou Art.

Brice lives and works in the Nashville area, with his wife Julie. He works on his songwriting and has a recording studio in his home. Brice also has a music ministry where he goes to local prisons and meets and counsels troubled inmates and helps them find their way to Jesus Christ.

Their music tells a story, encourages others to join in, and empowers others to feel the simple joys of life. The personalities of these three girls light up any room. They're the complete package–beautiful, clever, and fun. They really care for, encourage, and love people – it shows in their music and outwardly through their character! They are a rare act that comes along a few times in a generation that is destined to shake things up, wake people up, and become the musical trendsetters.

~ A note from J3…with love, ~
Homegrown in…Orleans, MI
The way we feel about music is… "Music has been apart of my life from the first time I can remember. Growing up, I remember my mother singing and dancing in the living room along with my sisters and I - we had a great time - what fun! Music ignites me, it sets my soul on fire." ~ Janel . . . "Music is a creative outlet for me, and I am thankful my parents made me take guitar lessons as a young child! I am grateful for being able to write and share our music of J3." ~ Jenny . . ."I'd be lost without music – it is the one bond that unites people together. It is something all of us as human beings have in common. Everyone can relate to music in one way or another. It is our common bond, a true way that we can embrace life and each other!" ~ Jill . . . "We only hope that we can use our small sphere of influence to touch others through our friendship, love, and music." ~ J3.

The Songs and Country Project…When we began the song selection for this project we couldn't help but feel the blessings bestowed upon us – together collectively. We are blessed to have true friendship and family love. As kids we attended PIPER, a one-room country schoolhouse in Orleans, MI – one of a rare few that remained at the time – this is where our "country roots" stem from and where our friendship began!

We are J3 – Country school & Sunday school gal pals – girl scouts – sisters – high school best friends – bridesmaids – you name it, we've been there – together! Through the good and bad – we've made it through together, helping each other through heartbreaks, challenges, letting go, growing up, moving on, knowing forgiveness and finding comfort in God! The Rosebud Records Project, Best of Friends album, gives you a peek at our friendship and our struggles. It captures the "feeling and spirit of J3," a collage of memories and moments. It's what makes us, J3!

J3 are still receiving rave reviews from their performane LIVE at the Detroit HOEDOWN on MAY! J3 joined Little Big Town, Joe Nichols, Emerson Drive, Ty Herndon, Jason Michael Carroll, Heartland, Josh Gracin, The Wreckers, Aaron Tippin, Carolina Rain, Chris Young, Bucky Covington, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley and more country music artists at this AWESOME EVENT! SEE YA'LL again in 2008!

Order J3's Best of Friends on CD.
Allison Owsley Bio, Category: Music
Allison began singing and performing on stage at a young age. From the beginning she knew that she was Nashville bound. Coming from a small town, Cross Timbers, Missouri, didn't slow Allison down. She found plenty of places to showcase her talent in nearby places such as Osage Beach and the infamous Branson. She's had plenty of practice belting out tunes from her idols, Dolly Pardon, Patty Loveless, Patsy Cline and Tanya Tucker.

Knowing that Branson was not the place for her, Allison packed her bags and headed for the lights of Tennessee at the young age of 19. Six years later she is now a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business and is currently finding material for her next album.

Allison makes her debut on Rosebud Records along with making her Fan Fair debut in 2005. Hitting the studios soon, Allison is excited to finally be pursuing her passion and bringing her talent to the world. Allison plans to get back to the roots of country music and bring the sound of good country music back to the fans that desperately crave it.

Allison Owsley
Allison has completed work on her debut album with Rosebud Records and Productions.
Allison's debut album on Rosebud Records is entitled "Strong Enough."
A graduate of MTSU with a degree in Music Business.
Allison is also busy co-writing to develop her writing ability.
Allison made her Fan Fair debut in 2005 meeting and greeting fans as well as performing for them. The CMA Music Festival set a new record with over one hundred thousand fans in attendance.

Allison hosted the 2005 Rosebud Records Fan Fair Show held at The Crossroads in Nashville, Tennessee.

Allison has made performances in places such as The Trap, The Nashville Palace and The Crossroads.

Featured as the opening act for bands and musicians such as Kenny Chesney.

Order Allison Owsley's Strong Enough on CD.

Thanks for being a friend. It's really awesome.

I can't wait to get my CD done and do some shows where I can hopefully meet some of you.

I wish I had a time machine and could blast forward and start doing shows tomorrow.

PS. TWO GUITAR PLAYERS WANTED...

The new material we are working on will have a guitarmony sound and will require three players. We are looking for two players who live in the Detroit Metro area.

What we are looking for:

1. Age 18 to 27
2. Must be a great player.
3. Studio and Live experience a plus.
4. Style of music is pop/rock/alternative/punk
5. Style is a cross between 30 Seconds To Mars, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Muse, Garbage, and The Used with strong commercial appeal.
6. Lead or Backing vocal capabilities a plus.
7. Ability to write guitar parts for existing melody lines.
8. Must have time to make a commitment and be available for studio and live shows. Currently rehearsals are scheduled on Sunday between 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
9. Will require learning a certain amount of filler cover material.
10. If you have drug or alcohol related issues this probably wouldn't work for you.

A label showcase is scheduled for late February - so time is of the essence.

If you or someone you know is what we are looking for. Please let me know so we can set up a studio audition.

~Merry Christmas, To all From , Tony & Valerie

Image Hosted by Host Dump

~A Christmas Prayer~

The moon shines bright at Christmas
The stars dance over head
Now the dream of Christmas
Shines out from within
As we stand together
Watchin the snow flakes fall
By the fire place you can hear
As chistmas comes to all

Christmas time in the heart
Christmas filled with love
Christmas is a dream
For the old and the young
Christmas present neath the tree
Familys come together
For the gathering of love and peace

Christmas is the time
For all to share
The joy, the love
As peace is in the air
Let's all take a hand
Let us all make a stand
With love across the land
For christmas is a dream to be shared

Got my dreams ignited by the fire
Got my heart ready for the Night
Got my engines revved with desire
Holidays are looking quite bright
As my Spirit soars with delight

Could it be a new day arising
Could it be another dream awakes
Could tomorrow be on the horizon
As my heart heads out to be free
Nothing here will chain me

I got to live with the fire in the night
I got to burn up the clouds
Nothing will get in my way
I am South Dakota Bound
I am South Dakota Bound

The engines are revved up and ready
The Bikes are soaring through the night
The Dream of freedom is burning
As my Spirit soars with Delight

So get on highway and Ride
Freedom is on your side
Ride to live Free forever
Live to Ride with the sun
Let the chains of the world come undone

This is for my Brothers and Sisters who ride for Toys for Tots
They bring sunshine to those who do not have a Christmas
So if you see a box for Toys for Tots please if you can donate
because it soon will be time for the Ride of sharing dreams

Also My Book (Igniting Ones Spirit) is now out on Barnes & Noble.com, Amazon.com and publishamerica.com
or if you would like a personal signed copy
please inform Lady Valerie or Snow Boots she will get all the details
the book is 19.95 + shipping and handling

Have a Great day Your Brother
