Biography

Named after downtown Brampton’s Rosedale Avenue, Mike Liorti and his friends invested many hours walking (over many different shoe sizes) on this mysteriously vintage street that links directly from the train tracks to the local music store. Yes, ROSEDALE (Express) were those kids who had nothing better to do than to try out amazing gear for hours in the music store and start writing tunes that didn't sound far off from bands like Taking Back Sunday, The Starting Line, and Blink 182. While this seemed like a phase, for Mike it was actually what created the positive foundation in his earlier artistic career.

Over time the dream of making music escalated to a surprising degree of reality; tours throughout North American followed appearances with Vans Warped Tour, a music video for "Online Venting" was shot with the assistance of Bent Penny Records, multiple viral interviews on Muchmusic.com, spins on XM and MTV2, and sponsorships from ONE Global Protection, Kodak, Audix Microphones, Boomphones, and Travis Barker’s Famous Stars & Straps.

These are a few accomplishments thus far, with a new team of musicians, another music video on the way, a debut album released November 2011, and “School Spirit Tour” with After The Anthems, there’s a lot to look forward too over the year ahead.
