So who am I? Well ... 53, grandmother of 9, live with a menagerie of animals and my hubby, Mark.
I'm a crazy AVON lady who writes poetry and listens to all kinds of music, loves to read, interested in paranormal and history, self sufficency, making money, and mentoring people.
I'm excited about growing my AVON and WATKINS businesses, and am reading a lot of motivational material now and learning more how to network. I have a lot of fun with my businesses, plus want them eventually to provide me with a comfortable income.
I tell people I have a wonderful life, I am content with all that God has given me, and I honestly think my little bit of land is my little bit of Heaven on Earth.
My health problems cause me to have to rethink some things a lot of the time, but I refuse to let them totally incapacitate me or take away my joy from all the good things in my life. There are so many people worse off than me, I count my blessings every day.
I try to encourage people to follow their dreams and not let others get in the way with negativity, sometimes you have to jump on in to find out that the water is fine and you can swim. Better to have tried and maybe not been as successful as you wanted, than to spend years wondering what might have been.
We have one life, we have responsibilities to ourselves and those around us. We owe it to ourselves to pursue our dreams, we owe it to others to be respectful of theirs.
We can make this world a better place but it takes each of us doing something to make it happen. Working to be responsible and not draining the country's coffers, helping each other whether physically, emotionally or just by being respectful of our differences, and caring for each other.
Everyone says I am always so happy. It is more of a contentment and peace. Even during the hard times, I know I am blessed. I try to share my joy with others.I think that's what the Good Lord put me on this Earth to do.
Please donate to help this organization. Every amount, no matter how small, helps. These are the faces of the children that you see on boards in Walmart, used to be on the milk cartons before plastic jugs took over.
You don't get to see the families that love and miss them, wondering if they'll ever see them again.
Please help!
Scary. The commentary is right though, about the Iraq War and how - even though they didn't like what was being said by their opposition - they didn't try to change laws or regulations so that those folks couldn't say what they wanted. From the beginning, this lot has.
