Blanche Marie Elizabeth Hollingsworth Devereaux: My lovely brunette friend is supposedly the youngest of us...although her exact age has never been revealed. She has a wonderful heart. She openly condemns mine and Dorothy's fashion sense

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak:a "bookworm", and an over-achiever, manly and sexually unattractive though a promising stand-up comedienne. Dorothy regards her friends to be family. She is very comforting to us, often giving good advice.

Sophia Angelo Spirelli Petrillo: is the resident smart-ass of the group and my best friend. Sophia is best known for her wise cracks and brazen remarks, often commenting on Dorothy's lack of love life; Blanche's promiscuity; and my stupidity. Gotta love her!

Although all four women in my friendship circle volunteer their time, I am arguably the most involved in charity work. I drove a bookmobile, was a candy striper at a hospital, and helped organize a charity talent show, among other things. Cheese making is a favorite hobby of mine...listed on my resume, as well. I have been a perennial runner up for the Volunteer of the Year award, even coming in second one year to a woman who was already dead. I am also a BIG fan of the hit television series Miami Vice, and am quite adept in the show's trivia.

I really love my gal-pals! I once won St. Olaf’s highest award, Woman of the Year, in November 1988. Unbeknownst to me, Dorothy and Blanche altered my list of achievements, making it impossible for me to lose. On the way to St. Olaf to the award ceremony, however, I found out about what Dorothy and Blanche did and refused to accept the award. The town named me the Woman of the Year anyway, stating that I exhibited the principles for which the award stands (and because the other winner was disqualified for keeping her husband's skeleton in the closet).
