Folk singer/guitarist, Rose Laughlin has returned to her home town of Seattle.
Since 2003 she has been in Chicago performing traditional Celtic and American Roots music. Although these traditional songs are her first love, there are many great songs from other genres that you may hear her sing.
Rose has performed with guitarist, composer, producer, Michael Kirkpatrick while in Chicago. She will be coming out with her second album, after her critically acclaimed debut album "Souvenir." The new album is a compilation of many of the songs she and Michael have performed while in Chicago.
Rose has enjoyed the pursuit of her music, the many friends she has made and the support she has received from them both personally and professionally.
It was important to her that she record her work before leaving Chicago. Rose's new album features some of the songs that she sang while in Chicago. So this spring look for her second album, "The Chicago Sessions."

Hey. It wasn't nearly as fun playing without you on Sunday evening, but I hope to see you come back through soon. In the meantime, I'll have to settle for the CD. Take care, and thanks again. -Jake.

Hi Rose, how are you? I received your new CD a couple of days ago and it's wonderful, something like a bridge between American and British folk music like I have not heard for some time. And you are surely a delightuful and sensitive singer! Compliments for your job! I immediately started playing it in my radio show here! Have a great weekend! Massimo
I know there's lots of "Save Me's" in the world today. I just ask that you consider joining voices with me in keeping a bit of Irish history alive and free. Hope all is well with you and many blessings for the days ahead.
