Roses for Chelsea (formerly The Drunk Monkeys) began in late 2007 but has come along way in a short period of time. It was formed by Evan Haymond (Guitar) Kurt Tellez (Bass) and Scott Stewart (Drums). They have recently gotten off a UK tour which included shows at the 2009 Mathews Street Festival. Since their return they have been rehearsing and writing and added new member Trevin Welty (Drums) after the departure of Scott for College. The musical style of the band although known mainly as alternative is hard to truly define as all the members are very versatile in their musical abilities.
