ROSHAMBO originally started when a few UW-Madison friends got together to play a college graduation party. The band was then asked to play for a fashion show at the landmark Memorial Union for designer Francois Girbaud. Soon the band grew and began playing in Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago including festivals, bars, weddings, and corporate events. The band had played together in various forms for over 8 years before going their own ways. Now, well into their “real” careers and several reunion shows later, the group realized they missed performing together. They added members from a few other local bands, The Edge and Last Call, to round out the new line up and changed their name to ROSHAMBO.
ROSHAMBO is a professional cover band that combines the sounds of the past 4 decades into a show for all ages and musical tastes. With a variety of pop male vocals and powerful soul/R&B female vocals, audiences are amazed at the variety of music they hear. ROSHAMBO performs for private parties, festivals, fund raisers and weddings.
