Rosie Hogan grew up in Australia and is one of the world’s leading Haute Couture and RTW designers. Today she is based in Sydney and NYC and has been invited by 7 major cities (including NYC, London, Miami, Brooklyn, Ottawa, Baltimore and Sydney) for commissioned shows with investors who benefit from the international coverage designers of her calibre offer. Rosie Hogan is emerging at a time when the industry's landscape is dominated by ready-made apparel, no longer Haute Couture and is well received by her more established counterparts describing her as “Parisian elegance combined with young RTW”. Accordingly, Rosie is offered international models, fashion shows, photographers, sales reps and pr ‘for image’ (for free) an investment the fashion industry makes to ensure the future of its new faces. At just 18 and with no formal training, Rosie Hogan was the youngest designer invited to show during New York’s Spring/Summer Season and one of only 10 talents selected worldwide. Directors were so impressed they invited her to return for an Autumn/Winter show at London Fashion Week earlier this year for guests Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. Self-taught fashion education began early for Rosie, when at age 11 idols Paco Rabanne and Valentino inspired a collection of 70 swimwear pieces and beauty products, which sold out within a few days at a market stall she opened in Sydney. Introduction to competitive runway didn’t begin until later however, when at age 13 Rosie became the youngest finalist selected for the Youth Fashion Awards, ahead of graduates and established designers. Rosie Hogan went on to attend workshops held by Leanne Whitehouse at the renowned White House Institute of Design where she created quite a stir with her mature couture illustrations. At age 16, Rosie dropped out of Kambala Girls School in Sydney to pursue her self-education in fashion design "There were no gays or fashion people at my all-girls school… I was often ridiculed for my taste in high fashion and had to step out into the world and create my own circle!”. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
