In early 2009, anxious musicians from the Baltimore area with diverse musical
influences sought to create a band that would forge a new sound—a uniquely
energetic and melodic sound, a dynamic sound, a sound that is simple yet
complex—a sound that has since become the identifying mark of Rosiere ("row-zee-air"). Able to hold their own on stage, Rosiere has already performed with several national acts, including Damiera (Equal Vision), Portugal. The Man (Equal Vision), The Reign of Kindo (CandyRat), The Matches (Epitaph), There for Tomorrow (Hopeless) and VersaEmerge (Fueled by Ramen). Rosiere continues to promote its debut EP while writing new material for a full-length release coming the end of 2009.
