Well, I guess it all starts with an R.L. Burnside album my friend gave me one day.
From there I've grown into a full blown acoustic singer song writer playing anything from Mississippi hillcountry blues to moving ballads about getting parking tickets and up tempo diamond thief anthems. There's something for everyone. It's Foot Stomping Goodness.
I don't think I really live the lifestyle of a blues man but hell, I grew up on a delta... it just wasn't "the" delta but I think it should still count for something.
My style of playing is definitely in the Hill Country blues genre so a lot of whiskey and a lot of stompin' yer foot.
HEY ROSS, cool tunes man. I run a little jam at The Princeton Pub on Powell St. here in East Van, drop by sometime and do some playing for the folks. Thanks for looking me up and all the best.
Hey buddy! Thank you so much for coming tonight!!!! I hope you enjoyed the show! And hopefully you get to play at trees soon so I can come and enjoy your music in the audience!
