Davide Rossi is a violinist, a string arranger, a music producer and a composer. He studied at the Conservatorio ‘G. Verdi’ di Milano, where he received his diploma in his early twenties.
Alongside with his education, he also pursued his passion for pop and rock music since a very early age, developing what is now a unique sound with his unique electric violins.
Some people may have heard him live with Goldfrapp, the British electronic duo, who took Rossi since the beginning of their live career, or performing with The Verve, at the Glastonbury and V festivals in the UK and Summercage festivals in Spain in 2008.
During his early career in Italy, Rossi played with some of the most interesting acts of the Italian underground scene and, together with his classical studies, followed the teachings of guitar legend Robert Fripp and German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen.
Experimenting with classical, rock and pop music, pushed him to play, as well as his acoustic violin, a 7 strings electric violin and a 5 strings electric double bass viola.
With these instruments he can cover the range of a whole string orchestra.
