And my husband could totally warrant a restraining order against me, I'm THAT obsessed with him. I've been an avid paranormal investigator since early 2001. I love to cook and bake and have published a cookbook of my family's favorites! Besides paranormal investigating, I also love scuba diving, and acting in TV and Film. Recent bio written... Dianna Avena has had a life-long interest in the paranormal. She grew up an Air Force brat, so has lived all over the US and overseas. When Dianna was 5, her mother experienced a near-death experience during a routine surgery and relayed her detailed experience to her young daughter. As a result, there was never a time in Dianna's life that she ever doubted that there was more to what we see here in our black-and-white existence on earth. Dianna planned a life as a Physician and in college found she continued to be drawn to stories of miracles and unexplained phenomena. In the fall of 2000 she attended the Roswell Ghost Tour in her current hometown of 20 years in Roswell, GA. She was intrigued by the paranormal phenomena occurring in the very historic area, and fully embraced her curiosity of all things paranormal at this time. She attended the tour many more times after that and became the main tour guide shortly thereafter. She and her husband, Joe Avena, purchased the tour in the fall of 2005 and have made Roswell Ghost Tour very successful, garnering national attention since then. It is led by paranormal investigators who all have a love of Roswell's history and have a respect for paranormal research and its integrity. Dianna has investigated alongside many of the nation's well known paranormal investigators. Early in 2007, The History Press asked Dianna to write a book about Roswell's hauntings and that book was released in October of 2007. It's entitled, "Roswell: History, Haunts and Legends". In the fall of 2007, Dianna realized the best way to reach her goal of making her impact in furthering the general knowledge in paranormal research was to Found and Direct her own paranormal research team. Therefore, she founded Roswell Georgia Paranormal Investigations (www.roswellparanormal). Her paranormal dream team was announced as a GA representative for The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS)in January of 2008. In September 2008 she co-hosted the national paranormal convention, Univ-Con 7, alongside Chad Calek. In April, 2009, Dianna and husband Joe were featured in the "Titanic Terror" episode of Sci-Fi's "Ghost Hunters". In May 2009, she was announced as heading up the national and international TAPS Family Member Conflict Resolution Team.
