About Revenge of The Cybermen

After a change in direction in 2007, Revenge of the Cybermen quickly won over indie fans after playing regularly in Bangkok and joining Mind the Gap on a tour of Northern Thailand in December that year. In April 2008 the band were invited to perform for three nights at The Esplanade in Singapore along with two other Thai bands.

The bastard love-child of Joy Division and T-Rex - Revenge of the Cybermen have forged a sound that is completely new to the ears of Thai music lovers. Whilst their songs have already appeared on numerous compilation albums it is when playing live that you truly see the heart and soul of the band. When they take to the stage, all eyes are on them. Their lead singer V is a powerful performer who grabs the audience’s attention by the throat and doesn’t let go until they have left the building. With an intense wall of sound of guitars and synths, Revenge of the Cybermen’s music is at the forefront of the alternative music revolution underway in Thailand.
