Rotten Charles Manson is a band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were formed in early 2007 by vocalist Arip (Killing Steward) and the bassist at the time, Bob Azrin. The band later joins by Hafiz as guitarist and Midi as drummer. By the end of 2007, Midi left the band and the slot is filled by Wan Slatan (ex-R.E.D) who came at the right time just before they enter the studio for recording their first EP. They announced their arrival on February 2008 after release their first EP entitled Demolition of Extreme Period and played their first gig at Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. On their first EP and on their early formed, the band take the melodic death metal ala Amon Amarth and Carcass (Swansong era) as their main influence. After Wan Slatan and Andy (rhythm guitar) join the band, all other bandmates decide to change their music style to more extreme and fast. The answer is the band change their style and became a grindcore band. In July 2008, Wan Slatan decides to quit the band due to his other commitment in his life. His place at drum were replace by Bob Azrin who switch to drum from bass player and RCM invite Achot from Heteredox to fill up the empty position on bass. At this moment, RCM takes Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, Nasum, Nausea and Cripple Bastards as their major influences. At the mid process of the recording for split project with Slovenian Crust/Grind, Mozak , Andy decide to quit due to he living far from the band members. The split CD release on July 2009 by Steward Records join with Pissart Records and Nervhous Records.
