Start with Johnny Thompson and Erwin Bieber who grew up together in Doylestown, PA. Add Mike Schilder and Glenn Kaucher who lived about twelve miles away. Wait till the new millennium, add the blues and you have Johnny Ts ROUGH MIX.
Growing up through the sixties and seventies, these four young lads were musical products of the British Invasion. While the British Invasion was fueled primarily with Pop/Rock tunes from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dave Clark Five, and the like, it was the blues of bands like Cream, Savoy Brown, John Mayalls Bluesbreakers, and early Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green that caught their attention. Four American boys introduced to blues by the Brits!
As the years went passing by, they would discover the great wealth of American blues and Johnny Ts ROUGH MIX would be born.
Masterpiece by F. Kaucher - I was going to have this framed for you for Christmas but she gave copies to Alan and Mom-mom this weekend so it was only a matter of time before someone would show it to you... so I wanted to be first. I hope I'm first. :)
