    Founded in 2006 Round Robin got its name when Pakoq was searching a dictionary. He found "Round Robin" in a dictionary, which is catchy for a band name. The meaning is more or less for "A Decision Made In A Circle". So conclusively, our music is created by unification of each band members. Band's Influence and Guidance : The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Kasabian, New Order, The Whip, The Bravery, Daft Punk,Foo Fighters,MGMT, Kassim Selamat and The Swallows. Every each of RR line-ups has their own influenced and passion . As for starters, the drummer had been growing listening to Grunge music from the start since 1995. the lead guitarist is more on Metal and glam rock guitar with the attitude of pure punk . Whilst on that,the biggest member in the band,the avantgarde personality synthesizer,is more keen into Post-Rock. As for the leader of the band, the soul of the band, the bassist is in love with New Wave - Punk /Electro kind of sound. So with mixture of passion and influences among others , the sound of Round Robin is moulded and casted. We are closed enough to find our own sound. As for the media, labelling bands are important to them to make their job easier. So to ease those music journalist, we decided to give a perspective to them. If asked what kind of music we play , we say : Rock 'n' Roll Garage Post Punk Electro. Tq. Brief Info Round Robin has been around in the Malaysia music scene from 2006. From 2006 till 2010, various changes of positions has been made,line-ups keep changing from time to time with Pakoq and Bob will always be the remains from the start. Until May 2010, the duo recruited 3 new members to fill up the band. The 3 members are Acap, as the guitarist, Iz as the vocalist and finally Jard , the drummer. And for the 1st time in Round Robin's history, the 2010/2011 line-ups are the most strongest line-ups ever and all bandmates are really committed to make Round Robin acceptable to listeners and music lovers out there. But while on the process of recording our first E.P , Iz , the vocalist quitted the band . As result, Jard have to sing on the last 2 songs on recording list that Iz didnt manage to finish and Pako has to sing on live shows. The recording started in mid July 2010 and insya'allah the pro-recording process will finish by the end of March 2011. Be praised with us. After this done, we will focusing on searching the greatest vocalist of all time in Malaysia . so this is it. We will producing our first debut E.P called The Philophobic E.P and hopefully by 1st May 2011, it will be launched. (more infos on the upcoming EP, please browse to our blog section.)

    A Party kind Post Punk band with lyrics of anger about love and things happening around Round Robin ,but at the same time in anger, they trying to find the fun of it and transcendence it our music. This is not ur typical poppish pop punk band that u hear a lot oustside nowadays.Yes, the earlier material of RR really have the value of cheesyness and mainstreamness,but as things moving from May 2010, RR has becoming more mature, more political,more intense and more unfriendly. And yes , we dont care what people do say about our music because in Malaysia, as long we are concerned about the Malaysia music scene, people dont give a shit to music anymore. Not like some 2, 3 years ago. Things has rotated and shifted. But, we are still going on even the music scene is like shit because we dont want to be called as one of trendy bands that emerged in the peaking time of Indie frenzy madness and disbanded after the Indie madness frenzy graph lowered. NO... we are not like that. we love music. we wanna make people happy and feel good when listening to our music. It really feel on top of the world seeing people enjoying our music while we performing. Yes, we wanna rawk and hype ur life, music lovers!!!
