Hi all. Just to let you all know that this coming Saturday's gig at the Mariners has been pulled by the venue with very short notice as they only let us know today. All gigs have been cancelled for the foreseeable future at this venue and it is very unlikely live music will start again here. Live music at The Mariner's does not appear to have thrived well since the change in management. We are really sorry if you have made arrangements to see us on Saturday - I know there was quite a few people who had made plans to see us. Route 666
Best wishes from Devils Creek - Glad to have you as a friend here on myspace. The great thing about myspace is that you can link up with kindred spirits!.
"Here's something a bit different. These guys are heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Status Quo and early 70's British bluesy hard rock. They've got a great groove in the rhythm section, a fine guitarist in Guy Rosewall, and their album 'Bullfrog Blues' is recommended! The album includes a rockin' take on Rory's "Seven Days". Definitely not another SRV clone"
"The band is driven beautifully by Terry Brown on drums and Tim Chapple on bass, the latter laying down a stomping beat on every number.......... on the showing of this album I would strongly recommend them" (Ian McKenzie - Blues In The South).
“The old Ten Years After classic Hear Me Calling suits Guy's heavy rock sound the best, and its the guitar sound that has a strong influence..... Guy's own foray into songwriting shows some interesting invention, particularly on the Family Song - good old 70's rock really. The others - Dead Man Walking, Poor Boy and Shadow City are built more on solid riffs, but Guy's also put in some worthwhile lyrics and not wasted the opportunity with rock cliches.... There's some worthwhile material in there" (Al Tait - Blues Matters)

I hope to get to one of your jigs in future. Do I get a "number 1" myspacer hat now? Or a robe? Haha! And that Jules character is only number 2! You hear me Julie! NUMBER 2! Mwahahahaha!
WooHoo! Number 1 on the friends list!
'Tis an honour Lord Axmeister! It was Dave Burke who drew the Route 666 caricatures by the way. It was my original guitarist I doodled when you taught me "TOMCAT" and he just defaced it! The mad hooligan and his false teeth!
Got the background from NASA so hope they're OK with that and not gonna hunt me down! The bigger picture is of a spacewalk which I was gutted not to get in the background shot but hey ho! It'll do! Glad to have you as my number 2 slot...as I'm glad to be slotted in as your No.2 as well! Think Keanu look is definitely the way forward! Keep it growing and keep it groovy man! :~p
