Bio
...... .. Route 1 Recording was founded in 1996 by Chris Hudson and is located in Monticello, MS in the the middle of 300 acres of raw nature. Route 1 quickly earned a reputation as "the place to be" if you want to avoid the often sterile environment of conventional recording studios and the hustle and bustle of metropolitan areas. The overall philosophy of Route 1 is to provide professional quality recordings at reasonable prices with a true focus on relaxation, and a healthy dose of vibe. Our client list, regional and national, has been growing steadily and includes all genres of music from rock & roll to bluegrass. Route 1 provides an environment that we feel is perfect for recording. Without distractions, clients can maintain a focus on the task at hand, which is to produce a professional sounding recording while having fun at the same time. Chris Hudson and Nick Smith are the engineers of Route 1 Recording and both have wide ranges of skills in many different genres of music. Route 1 has an abundance of gear to suite a wide mas of your musical needs, from vintage guitars and amps to pianos, B3 organ, wurlitzer, and a large selection of professional mics. We are currently running ProTools by Digidesign as our DAW through a Macintosh G4 Computer. Nick Smith is Certified thru Digidesign as a Certified Operator Of ProTools. Hey guys!
Thanks again for helping make our first major studio experience both enjoyable and productive. We titled the CD "Adhesion" and got our first 100 copies in today. Pretty excited! If you get a chance, we'd love to see you at "Rock the Park!" on October 31 in Crystal Springs. Take it easy fellas!
God Bless,
