Droning A's, the noise coming out of my space echo after turning up the intensity knob, the strange sounds heard in my head. Of course listening to Yo La Tengo has inspired many ideas as well as Sigur Ros's studio techniques, the strange sounds heard on WFMU's on the download, the playing of Jerry Garcia and the lyrics of Robert Hunter and Bob Dylan.

Someone loves delay pedals, most songs start as either an acoustic template that gets a little lap steel thrown on top, and add in some odd sound fx, or often times when just fiddling with delay pedals and various toys I'll stumble upon a noise loop which serves as the base of song and add whatever fits to that.
During the late '90's I was given a guitar by a former co-worker and have been obsessed with playing ever since. Got my first 4-track in 2000, currently recording on a digital 8-track and working out new recording techniques. I play guitar, slide, lap steel, banjo, a lil piano(not very good at it), bass, Coral sitar, and the very rare omnichord(only met one other person that plays one).
