I'm Rob, a versatile, easy going bass player in Coventry, having recently returned from Exeter where I've been living for the last few years. I play with Jakamo (see my video), a Coventry funk, rock, soul band and a Leicestershire based rock..punk band called Dirty Little Secrets but also love jamming and messing about with my own home recordings.
During my time with Devon funk band the Soul J's I supported Maceo Parker at the Lemon Grove in Exeter, now that was a buzz!!
Thanks for the shirt, Rob...dunno what I'm going to do with it just yet-but still, what a nice thing to have about. You're alright, come back to LA soon when you have time to hang out.
It's not complicated, it's "Rich and Vibrant"...sounds good anyway. It's Bosch (the background), you ought to look into it. Can't wait to see you at the wedding, meditative thumper friend!
cool beanz, Rob, cool fucking Beanz. We were just talking about you tonight, seems you're a well liked fellow and I'm not the only one anticipating your return. Don'tell anyone, but Gaz and I are thinking about agreeing on a few covers for a bit of fun. Still trying to get the sessions we had recorded onto a cd so I can have em on my iPod and show everyone what a fantastic drummer I am-er excuse me, fabulous bassist and guitarist you two are.. Have fun, and don't tolerate any bad speech about my lovely California!
Once again, Rob it was a treat to meet you and jam with you, it was like if someone didn't break up the sessions, it would have gone on forever-not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Looking forward to seeing you in May, maybe we'll do something for the wedding or at the reception? Keep in touch!
hey thanks for the add....and thanks for letting us know we got played on the radio! we're all very excited now :) liking your playing btw. peace and love. x x Jazica x x
