About Row Z

Row Z- a blues rock band fronted by guitarist Richard James Smith, noted for his unusual style of guitar performance. Described by Jools Holland as 'Amazing' Richard penned a top 40 hit last year and will bring out an album shortly.

Callum McMorran	May 31 2008 1:19 PM Whitby Sports and Social Club in Ellesmere Port/Whitby has been holding a Jam night now for a few months, on the first Wedenesday of every month. All musicians of all ages, styles and background are welcome to support each other in what is turning out to be a great night!! The previous 2 jam nights have both been a great success with musicians from country blues to modern rock taking part. The venue is great for the occasion and all equipment is provided by a 'house band' who play a set themselves throughout the night of predominantly bues. Just bring yourselves and your instruments to plug in and go for it!! If you want drums/guitar or bass backing then there are session musicians to get up and jam with. The next night is this Wed the 4th of June, so please turn up and even if you dont feel like playing and want to suss it out then please give it a go! Also ORIGINAL ARTISTS LIKE MYSELF WOULD FIND IT A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO 'TEST OUT' NEW MATERIAL. THE BEER IS DED CHEAP ASWELL!! Thanks and hope to see you there!! Cal
