Even though I have already had the great fortune to have spoken to you on the phone and extended my happiness for your upcoming event! I won't say Congratulations, because proper etiquette dictates that you never congratulate a bride on her wedding engagement or marriage because it implies that she's the lucky one who got someone to actually propose marriage. It’s like believe or not I got him!!! It implies she snared a man, accomplished something and should be congratulated for a job well done. The groom to be is the one that gets congratulated for getting the beautiful girl to graciously accept his well timed proposal. You are supposed to extend to the bride to be your “best wishes,” and your happiness on hearing the great news. So saying "Congratulations!" is only for a bridegroom.

So, with that said I wanted to say it on line! I'm so happy for you guys!! This is going to be a great event!! Congratulations to Nam!!! I wish you both all the happiness in the world!!! (-:
