The Mixtape Journals is going to be a new regular zine/book full of people's journal entries as well as a mixtape/cd featuring all of the songs people chose to reflect their story
Of course for this to work we need YOU to get involved. All I need from you is a journal entry, story, memory or poem - whatever you would like to use. This could be handwritten complete with crossings out, doodles, whatever (which would be so much more fun) or typed and can be anon. or include your name and a link to your website.
If you could also let me know which song you would like to use I can get that ready for the cd and then we will sell them. There will be roughly 20 entries in each issue and we hope to make it a regular thing with new stories and journals in each issue.
There may also be the option to choose whether you would like a mix cd or a real mixtape for the old-school kids!
Hopefully this will become a regular and exciting thing for everyone A great way to discover music you might not normally listen to and get your hands on some cool mixtapes!
