About me:
I am half Brazilian and half Lebanese and I love both cultures tremendously! I feel blessed to come from such rich cultures-the music, dance, food and soooooooo much more. I teach and perform Middle Eastern Dance! I teach a weekly class at the Dance Garden in Atwater Village as well as workshops nationally and internationally. I am incredibly proud of my cultural artform and am proud to be able to share it with others! I also teach elementary school and I love working with children. I currently teach the 4th grade and Im looking forward to starting the new school year! I find that teaching and dancing brings me the most balance and happiness in my life. Im blessed to have a wonderful family and amazing friends! If Im not in the dance studio or in the classroom I might be : with the twins-Gi & Dani- the beach- the pool- the park- at C&O eating wicked garlic rolls- travelling the world- applying lip gloss- having deep stream of consciousness conversations with Sahra, Ava or Alexandra- dancing around my bedroom- doing Pilates or Yoga- working out with Dr. B- with Jordan, the coolest nephew in the world!- And currently-studying alot as I complete my Master's program... The one thing you will always find me doing is SMILING!!!!!
