Since they play together, they have experimented with a lot of different styles and sounds. But the core of their work always was melodic rock with a strong focus on fine, heavy guitar work, even more since lyle närvänen, former guitarist of the leningrad cowboys, joins the band in 1999. his powerful soli and the significant voice of singer robby hahn are the bands individual features – as the roxy flames are welcome guests on stages all over germany.

Sie existieren schon seit 1994. "Zeit genug zum Üben hatten wir also", finden Robert Hahn (Vocals, Guitar.), Philip Meyer (Guitar.), Nik Petrek (Bass), Maik Hahn (Drums) und Jörg Feuerstein (Keyboards).
Musik- und Band Erfahrung sammelt sich bei der Frankfurter Band The Roxy Flames an, wie bei anderen Leuten dreckige Unterwäsche. Und genau das merkt man schon beim ersten musikalischen Kontakt mit der Band.
Straighter und locker auf den Punkt gespielter Rock gepaart mit der einzigartigen Stimme vom charismatischen Frontmann Robert Hahn und den explosiven Soli von Gitarist Lyle Närvänen sind die Zutaten aus denen der Roxy Flames eigene Sound entsteht.
Brilliantes Songwriting trifft druckvollen Rock..n Roll. Die Songs sprühen voller hittauglicher, melodischer Arrangements und Lyrics die im Gedächtnis bleiben.

Einen Schub in die richtige Richtung erhielt die Arbeit der Roxy Flames, als Lyle Närvänen von den "Leningrad Cowboys" 1999 zur Band stieß. Seine virtuosen Soli sind bei den zahlreichen Live-Auftritten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet und darüber hinaus ebenso zum Markenzeichen geworden wie die unvergleichliche Stimme von Sänger Robert Hahn.
Die Live Gigs der Roxy Flames sind immer ein besonderes Ereignis. Monumentale Spielfreude und Energie sprühen von der Bühne, wenn die Band zum rocken lädt.
Selbstbewusst, Fordernd, Laut, Stark, Gefühlvoll…und jederzeit in der Lage das staunende Publikum zu überraschen und noch einen Gang höher zu schalten.
