    .. Our story begins with the story of a jam. In late 2007, two men, Joe Goldbeck and Kevin Mann, arrived in Berkeley to begin the same graduate program, and almost instantly the bonds of jamming were formed. From this beginning developed a band, DangerBears, ambitious but ephemeral, sadly, as some bands can be. Facing imminent musical, and thus mental, collapse, the pair invited Sharri Zamore to join them in their jams to lay down some vocals and sick ass beatbox. Craving chordal structure and further musical mixture, Sharri invited Farhad Farahmand to join in the festivities of funk. Farhad fit like a puzzle piece. The group became complete with the appearance of Chad Bolich (aka Doobz), providing beats, but sadly the chimes of time rolled away Sharri and Chad onto various pursuits. Angela Brooks and Jimmy Nelson have since stepped in to cause the universe to groove uncontrollably.

    .. This is how it works: in a bee colony, worker bees feed honey to the baby bees to help them get strong and grow up. The worker bees also feed little bits of the delicious and rare royal jelly to each baby bee to increase their awesomeness. Sometimes though, when the clouds have rolled away, and the moon is just right, the bee council will decide to feed one baby bee with only royal jelly. Fed solely on nectar from the bee gods, this bee will turn into a queen! .. .. We sounds like that, except it's "jam" instead of "jelly." And instead of "queen," it's "rock star." ..
