The music of Royal Showdown is packed with eclectic and varied references, all while appealing to the current UK pop scene. From the outset, the band’s sound is clearly identifiable from the narrative lyrics, daring arrangements and sophisticated melodies.
What style of music? Well, that is for you to decide. The band will talk about Steely Dan and Black Kids in the same breath. So there is certainly no musical snobbery at work in the Royal Showdown camp!
