Royal Waves is a band composed of four young musicians striving to create new and interesting music. We started playing together as a group in the summer of 2006. After jamming for just over a year and creating songs of all different musical backgrounds, we made a self-recorded EP in the summer of 2007 of four songs that we felt were our strongest to date. The EP is entitled "The Evening Recordings." The EP, along with playing a handful of local shows and benefits, began to widen our fan base and spread the word about Royal Waves and the direction we are looking to move in. Our songs have inspired adjectives from concert goers such as "innovative" and "refreshing." These words, among others, are very descriptive of our musical style and goal sets that we hope to accomplish throughout our musical careers together as the Royal Waves.
We are more than willing to answer any questions you may have about our band and our upcoming projects. Just leave us a message here on our Myspace site or send us an e-mail at royalwaves@live.com.
House Sounds and Vision Satisfaction sound like a dream! Good stuff. Nice programing Adam Smith. Thanks again for Reason. Let me know when the new album is finished (I will buy it).
I have been doing many things. Check them out if you wish.
Forget about downloading our music on itunes etc... we've got something even MORE exciting.
You can now actually OWN a piece of the band. Instead of buying our cd right now - you can be a shareholder in our next one. It's a brilliant system - check it out!
You pick how many shares you want to buy - and then once the album is done, you start making money! :) And of course you can back out at any time. It would be really cool to have you on board for this.
This is our singer Eric, all by himself - playing "Interstate Love Song" by Stone Temple Pilots. If you like it - be sure to share it with people - it's a fun acoustic version of the song! :) The code is at the end of the song!
Adam Smith! I enjoyed "Light Works". I'm not sure if the CD you gave me is the official EP release, but cool either way. I hope to see you at the show in July.
