Radio veteran Roy Butler hosts the "COPING WITH CANCER" show each week. Roy has been as member of the Living Word Church for several years, is a two-time cancer survivor himself, and wants to encourage all who tune in to listen.
Roy has worked for AM-630 KSLR since March 1986! (That's 23 years, kids!) In fact, Roy met his wife Michelle through a song he played for her on a show called "All Request Saturday Night", which aired on KSLR in January of 94. The song he played for Michelle was "Love Carrier" by Christian artist Billy Crockett. Roy and Michelle then met in church. They will celebrate their 14th Wedding Anniversary on November 25, 2009!
Roy also produces an internet radio show for his wife called ,,COPING WITH DYSTONIA,, Michelle's site is at www.copingwithdystonia.org

Your quiet (well, sometimes NOT so quiet) devotion to your duties, your attention to the organization of the disk library, and to keeping the place sic-and-span is above and beyond the call. (In fact, they ought to issue you an official APRON with your name on it in the studio-side kitchen!) I fully expect to see you exalted as the greatest among us when we get to the other side my friend. The prayers of my family go out to you and Missy, that your lives get easier each day, and that you keep on striving to fulfill that mission that God has kept you alive through two bouts of cancer for!
