    Hey you!  I hurt my foot the week before drill team try outs...  which was also at the beginning of competition season.  I just sucked it up and did what I had to do to get through it.  I sort of didn't let anybody know how bad it really hurt... just took tylenol and alieve and sucked it up.  That what us athletes do.. right?  right!  Well...  now I may have really screwed up my foot.  I may have nerve damage...  I have 2 fractures, one in my 5th metatorsal and 1 in my cuboid...  which may both be stress fractures and if they are... I will have to have surgrey on it.  This really isn't a good time of the year for me.  I have recital this next saturday...  officer drill team camp the week after that...  and dance camp the week after that..  I'm not feeling this injury at the moment.  Not too happy with what they are telling me...   Grrrrrrrrrrrr...  I tried putting my foot down and refusing to go to the Dr..  but my mom reminded me our household is a dictatorship and not a democracy.  ~giggle~  (her favorite saying to us kiddos)

    I am extreamly excited. My day really doesn't slow down for me during the summer. I have a week of drill team officer camp, a week of line drill team camp, a week of performance team camp and I work the vacation bible school camp. I also volunteer at a local hospice two days a week, and work at a Sky Ranch as a nurses aide. (A christian camp for kiddos) I love being busy. I hope to get my life guard license this summer. I love the water... lake, swimming pool.. etc. =}

    How are you doing Uncle Roy? Things are going very well for me. We just had our school drill team try outs... I tried out for an officer position. I got Sr. Lieutenant, which is 2nd in command.     It was great hearing from you! I't been kinda crazy around here too. This is a hectic time of the year for me. It's competition season. Putting in lots of hours practicing, profecting routines. Give grandma and grandpa hugs for me. and squeeze yourself for me too.
