A tall girl, standing close to about 5"6, ,wobbily walked down the sidewalk of a crowded street. Her movements were a bit off balance as she traveled. One foot in front of the other shook a little just before weight was pressed down. Her barefeet scooted across the concrete, collecting the sand and powdered marble with each step. Her green cotton dress clung to her with damp water and grainy sea salt. Strands of tangled blue hair flowed down in clumps to rest against her back. The girl had looked as if she had just surrvived a hurricane. Tired and lost, the strange girl seemed to have a little trouble breathing.
The people passing by continued on their path, unnoticed by this wanderer's trembling. It was almost as if she wasn't there, or that they were too preoccupied with own troubles to have seen another's. Of course her only concentration at the moment was walking. It was tempting for her to have raised her head, to search with those deep fathamed pools of liquid blue eyes. However, she feared that if she had done so, she would lose her balance and fall. She felt drawn towards an unknown path that she was going.
The wind continued to push for her to keep walking until something stood, blocking her view on the ground. A paire of dark boots, placed next to a set of concrete stairs of a tall building. While taking one extra step as she moved, she accidently bumped into the owner of the boots from behind. It took her a moment to have snapped out of her concentration of walking, to have realized her mistake and to have seen that the boots below had an owner. Her eyes had blanced up to the other's backside in fear. She trembled and quickly bowed her head once more.
"F-Forgive me," she spoke in a soft tone and awaited what she had hoped to have been a show of mercy.
~She walks silently down the street with her head down, listening to the wind play in the leaves. Her two tone hair blowing softly behind her. Not watching where she is going, she nearly smacks into your chest. Almost coming out of her skin with shock~ Goodness!! ~Her puts a hand to her racing heart~ You came up out of nowhere! Damn. Sorry... for almost running into you. Lost in though. Happens to me a lot
Rain glanced down at her rapier before whisper softly. Her meeting with Vicious was less then ideal. "Our brother, does he frown upon me? Vicious seems to have only reappeared to tell me he will not be seen ever again." Pausing for a moment, the Alchemist of Life raised her empty right hand and the smooth pink colored stone rose from the flesh of her palm to hover, as her emerald green hues looked it over. "All I ever have done was to make him proud. He doubts the stone of one soul will hold up against countless centuries of evil, but I will not fail. There is no other option. I will face that torrent alone." Clenching her fist shut, the stone vanished before Rain Mustang raised an eyebrow. Roy may have been stronger then she, in fact everyone in the family was physically stronger then Rain, but her brother had been out of the loop for quite some time. Being forced to take over Dante Sparda's occupation had acquainted the blonde demon hunter with the various species of evil. The right hand that had once held the counter stone rubbed the back of the slender figure’s head. “It’s been awhile since you’ve been here, Sir.” The girl spoke mockingly to the Flame Alchemist. Roy had been and always was more popular amongst the crowd, but Rain had been gaining her own popularity amongst the realms of the Underworld. Roy was loved and Rain was hunted. Stepping passed her older brother a small grin played across her velvet pink lips as she glanced over her shoulder. “Do try to keep up. I’d hate to embarrassed in front of my adoring fans.” Rain spoke of the demons that swept through Central specifically for her and of course the few mortals that appreciated the single female whom kept the numbers low on their behalf.
"Sir," Riza saluted quickly before walking over to his desk and handing him a manilla folder full of paperwork. "The papers you requested. I think you might find it a bit surprising."
(ooc; Just noticed we hadn't roleplayed before, thought I'd send a starter in case you wanted to)
-Vicious unleashed his sword upon a huge beast as it walked toward Central. The beast felt nothing, it was torn asunder by his blade. He walked between the beast's legs and as he sheated his blade the demon fell backward and split in two perfectly down the middle. Vicious was in his typical clothes, they looked a little worse for wear but nothing looked new about his appearance. It was pitch black, there was no moon out so the naked eye would not spot vicious. Even so he took the back alley's, not wanting to waste his time talking to anyone he didn't want to talk to. -
"But that's so unfair to ask of you or anyone. All I have ever done was try to make it so my family has a moment's peace. To ask of such would be contradicting my original intent, wouldn't it?" The young woman wasn't feeling too hot from her encounter with Cain either. There was no hugging and happy reunion, only harsh words and Rain's stubborn streak. Vicious and Wings had always warned her that eventually she would find some one or something just as stubborn as she was. And perhaps Cain was. With a soft sigh she pulled her head back running a hand through her hair. "So the man I thought was dead for the past several months hates me. How have you been fairing without me for all this time?" The blonde grinned jokingly before getting back to her feet. She had to stand. Being weak was not an option.
With a heavy sigh the girl rested her head on her brother's shoulder. Roy was always easy to please, but Vicious on the other hand...Rain wasn't too sure if he approved or not and she had always sought to make him proud. With a soft whisper she spoke once more. "I'm just trying to do my job." Protecting the innocent was always something the woman did, but now that Dante Sparda had asked her to take over his family business, she had a little bit more then just that until Dante returned.
Vincent jumped down from his perch and lands directly in front of you. He wasn’t hiding, he just simply didn’t know that you were aware of his presence.
“I came here looking for a friend, but I have been invited to stay by Rain Mustang. You are acquainted with Rain, but how?”
"AND NOW I...." You now can feel the immense power that could only come from a Nightroad. A tear in the fabric of time and space can almost be seen by the naked eye. And suddenly there is a raw erruption of energy in the sky. The light is blindgly white and after the initial burst Cain floats in midair.
"RETURN!" Once Cain fuly materializes he looks downward toward you. His eyes were red with power until his eyes locked with yours. Then they go back to their natural state of being pale blue.
"I've killed your kind you know...mortal men whom prey on their own kind. I have known nothing, but battle all to try and find you. To find anyone. Eventually, the life of a warrior consumed me and my duty is to the people. Isn't that what we are suppose to be?" The young female collapsed down on to her knees eventually just sitting there as her eyes traveled about the room. Even this place, a place she had once called home, started to seem foreign to her. She had to pray she could be the one whom she once was. The one whom didn't wield the sword, but a smile.
