“Gift of the White Light,” is a biography of my friend Psychic Detective, Annette Martin, which begins when she first discovered her psychic gift at age seven. James N. Frey brings you an in-depth look at the personal and psychic life of a genuine psychic. It's an awesome book!

This is my story and it's true! If you love your family, you should read my book, "Tragedy in Tin Can Holler". Once you start reading it, you can't put it down. Did you ever wonder about your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents past? Did you ever wonder about the skeletons that are hanging in your family closet? I did! My father murdered my mother in a place called Tin Can Holler when I was only seven years old and I spent over twelve years of my childhood in abusive foster homes. I dug up all the skeletons in my family closet. It's an unbelievable true story that will make you wonder about all the secrets in your own family closet. The horrors in my family spanned more than a century before I was born. My mother’s horrible death and disfigurement by the hands of my father always haunted me, but discovering why my father murdered my mother was just the tip of the iceberg. I had no knowledge of my father’s background or his family, but my instincts told me there had to be more to the story. I searched for the truth. My story will knock your socks off!
My grandmother was a serial killer during the great depression and was sent to prison twice for mail fraud….no evidence could be found. I know where the bodies are and I am revealing their location in my book. She abused my father and turned him into a killer. My mother’s love and spirit gave me the courage to overcome all the obstacles I faced during my lifetime, and there were many. I was determined to be normal and prove that even though I came from a place called Tin Can Holler, there is hope for a better life. Because of one man’s actions I and my siblings lost our mother and were separated from each other.
My mother's spirit was calling me to return to the place of my birth and to Tin Can Holler where it all began in 1959. At the age of 53, I quit my job, sold my home in Florida where I had lived for 32 years and left my children and grandchildren to search for information about my family and to discover the truth about my mother’s murder. Today I am an advocate speaker against domestic violence, a spokesperson for CASA and the United Methodist Homes for Children. If you have dreams listen to your heart and follow them. Life passes by quickly and before you know it…it’s gone. Check out my reviews at www.tragedyintincanholler.com and Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Are you a mature, responsible adult? Can you talk to people who are having problems? Do you have time to commit? Do you care about children? If your answers are "yes," then you may qualify to be a CASA volunteer.
CASA volunteers come from all walks of life. They have a variety of professional, educational, and ethnic backgrounds. No special background is required. Volunteers are selected on the basis of their objectivity, competence, and commitment. Often, a child remains in foster care for months or even years. This is where CASA comes in. CASA volunteers are Court-Appointed Special Advocates for children. These trained community volunteers are appointed by the judge to speak up for abused and neglected children in court. CASANET also offers moderated chats and forums for networking with fellow CASA workers and experts in the field of child welfare.E-mail the National CASA Association at staff@nationalcasa.org

Thank you so much for the friend request. Your book was amazing, such a powerful story. I can't wait to see the documentary and wish I could have made it to the screening. Carl and Lynn are my parents' neighbors. They are wonderful people and were like 2nd parents to me growing up :) Take care and I hope you have a wonderful 4th.
I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Now we’re going through an uncertain future with JJ as he remains in ICU at the animal hospital. (Details on my blog if you're interested). Hopefully everything will be fine and back to normal soon. Will you please keep our family in your prayers? Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
My sister in Tennessee told me your story and I just read your book. I found a lot of parallels while reading it. We grew up in a home where rage was the emotional language. God bless you for all that you are doing to speak out and to help others.
