Interests

  • General

Locating and addressing sources of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Also, educating the general public about the benefits and contraindications regarding professional bodywork. Unfortunately, many still have the idea of it being either something sexual or a luxury beauty treatment. If you want to be pampered, go to the spa. If you're looking for a hook-up, go to a parlour. If you are experiencing chronic muscular pain and dysfunction, you need to come and see me. My job is to assess and correct. . .not soothe and caress.

About me:

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB via PRWeb) October 4, 2006 -- RPM Muscular Therapies Clinic LLC, a private Atlanta-based soft tissue rehabilitation therapy practice specializing in locating and addressing sources of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, is celebrating its first anniverary in the Buckhead West Village community. The firm, which initially began in early 2004 as a primarily mobile service, began operating in Buckhead during Fall of 2005. Unlike many practitioners using massage therapy techniques, RPM is not a spa and is focused more on muscular pain relief as opposed to general relaxation. Techniques utilized are often integrated and may include aspects of Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Sports (Pre-event, Post-Event, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Passive or Active Stretching, etc), Therapeutic Swedish, or Thai bodywork. Modalities used are based upon individual client needs. Parent company Founder and CEO, Raleigh McKeever, said that the area was selected due to its' central location to most Atlanta neighborhoods and mix of residential, commercial, and shopping areas. "People suffering from chronic pain often don't want to travel too far for relief. They typically want to go to a practitioner who is either close to their home, work, or shopping." RPM Muscular Therapies LLC is a division of Atlanta-based 180 RPM Enterprises, Inc.

Who I'd like to meet:

Individuals seeking more holistic approaches to the management of their musculoskeletal pain conditions. Chemicals and surgery are not always necessary. A number of aches and pains are caused by repetitive movements, postural distortions, and even toxic intake. Professional bodywork can alleviate a number of those issues.

    1. WHEN THINGS GO BAD, always remember: It could be worse.

    2. NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP. Keep working on your speech and your life.

    3. NEVER LOSE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. Laugh at yourself, laugh with others.

    4. STEM DEPRESSION by thinking of, reaching out to and helping others.

    5. DO UNTO OTHERS as you would have them do unto you.

    6. PRAY, not for God to cure you but to help you help yourself.

    Be Different

To make a difference, you often must be different.
    It takes courage
and confidence to go against the grain of negativity that surrounds
you, and such courage can bring great rewards.

Where others see only doom and gloom, look for the bright glimmer of
opportunity. For it is most certainly there.

When everyone is looking for someone to blame for what has already
happened, turn your focus toward the future.
    Exploring the current
possibilities will create infinitely more value than arguing over
    past failures.

When you encounter rudeness and irritation, generously offer your own
    polite and confident patience.
When you bump up against the arrogance
of another person, melt it away with your own sincere, self-assured
    humility.

Just because everyone is heading in a negative direction doesn't mean
you must go that way too.
On the contrary, it's a valuable
opportunity for you to set a positive example.

In times of great difficulty and stress, choose to be a beacon of
    encouragement, understanding and positive purpose.
    Be different, and
you can truly make a valuable positive difference.

    Hey RPM Muscular Therapies Clinic,

I thought you might enjoy my quote of the week:
