About me: I got arrested for being female. The only way to break this law is to be female. On Tues. April 8th at around 6:50pm I was arrested for indecent exposure for showing my chest. A man cannot be arrested for this crime because the law states “she” and “her”. There is no anatomical difference between men and women in regard to the nipple and areola area of the chest. Yes men even have mammary glands, they can get breast cancer and if they are given female hormones they can even lactate a bit. Women can walk around with their shirts off as long as the entire areola region is firmly covered with a fully opaque material. That means that by law women’s nipples are considered indecent.
What is indecent about my nipples? Why there is a law based on nothing other than gender? My nipples have fed two children. What has any mans nipple ever done? Why do women have to keep their shirts on for fear of harassment or arrest and men walk around with their shirts off without reaction? Why are females breasts considered a sexual organ?
