General
Since I’m a native New Mexican, I enjoy southwestern art and pottery. One of my favorite pastimes is cooking with my wife…I courted her with my southwestern cooking, and now I enjoy trying out new recipes on the grill. An old running joke of mine has been to travel and put together a church cookbook from all the Southern Baptist ladies. My wife and I talk about putting together a cookbook of our own. I also enjoy reading, hiking, travel, biking, music and yes, computer gaming. I have plans to take up an old hobby again, and that is stain glass making.
Music
I like all kinds of music. When I want to relax, I like to listen to classical music and classical guitar. I like oldies, classic rock, and folk rock and thanks to my wife, in the last few years I have learned to appreciate country. Movies
I'm a movie buff...I'd rather own than rent. I enjoyed The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Chronicles of Narnia, based on C. S. Lewis' book. I tend to like adventure and action movies best, comedies, drama…but, yes…I will watch a chick flick with my wife…does Love Actually count? Recently watched: 300
Television
I’m most interested in forensic based programs like the CSI franchise; Cold Case programs…and Fox News.
Books
My favorite authors are John Grisham, Michael Creighton and Tony Hillerman.
