About me: I am proud to be an affiliate of the original Rational Response Squad started by a team of well known atheist activists who are tired of the role irrational beliefs have in our society. Like the folks who originally started this team of rational responders, I believe that we should live in a world where people need proof for the claims we are told we should believe.
We're looking forward to uniting folks on a local level who want to engage in activism and get together from time to time.

Since we all can express our own views and words are words I must take this time to wonder why after watching some of the videos here in this group downplay people's opinions in choosing to believe in God. "Living an atheistic life means you understand that you have one life to live....having that understanding will make you live happily and to the fullest". I have to say that believing in God does not mean that one will waste their life believing that they will get another. I live life one day at a time because we never know when our day may come.
As for this evidence people need to prove an existence of God comes through many years of philosophical thinking. But all in all Faith overrides any knowledge of proof when it comes to believing in any deity. After all, this country was founded on religious freedom. It is with freedom alone that I express my view to you all in hopes that I may influence a response to my message.
