Music
Music is my life, so this could be a really long section! I play a little piano and used to play percussive instruments, but I really prefer to sing. My favorite bands/artists of the moment are: Ben Folds Five, SuperDrag, Norah Jones, Stevie Wonder, Diana Krall, Joss Stone, Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cake, Muse, Phish, 311, Ryan Adams, Sublime, Elliott Smith, Foo Fighters, Mars Volta, Weezer, Max Creek, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Dispatch, White Stripes, Amy Winehouse, Allman Brothers, Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, Dinosaur Jr, The Pixies, Postal Service, Incubus, Sunny Day Real Estate, Jeff Buckley, Keane, Refused, AC/DC, The Fray, Evanescence, Jackson United, Interpol, G. Love, John Davis, Moody Blues, Ben Harper, Black Crowes, Beatles, Ben Harper, Pink Floyd, Maroon 5, Grateful Dead, Pedro the Lion, RadioHead, Fire Theft, Nirvana....just to name a few. =o) Like I said on my "about me" I'm also really into a lot of local bands like: Hey Now Morris Fader, Gutta, Huck, The Grift, Nude Black Glass, The Howl, Bees Knees, The Curtain Society, GoofyFoot, Stories That Live, The Luxury, White Chocolate, Brookfield, Uncle Billy's Smokehouse, On The Drop, The Valves, and MuleRide. (Brooks plays in 4 of those!)
Movies
Just like the music, this section could go on forever. I love mostly comedy and action movies, not really into chick flicks, probably comes from being friends with mostly guys. I love: Once, The Dark Knight, The Departed, Anchorman, The Prestige, Stardust, Wedding Crashers, Love Actually, Knocked up, Superbad, 40 Year Old Virgin, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (I loved the books, so I like the movies), Walk the Line, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Memiors of a Geisha, the Bourne movies, Batman Begins, Napolean Dynamite, Almost Famous....and so many more.
Television
I don't really watch TV, but I like watching shows on DVD. I love: Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, Friends, Alias, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Smallville, CSI, Law & Order, Family Guy, The Office (the original BBC version...so much funnier than the American one).
Books
Anyone that knows me already knows that I'm a complete bookworm. =o) I will read just about any book I can get my hands on!
Heroes
My mom for being such a great role model, and my sister, Mary, for being so strong and independent and unique! =o)
My brother, Jared, for being SO strong and optimistic while battling cancer. I'm still in shock that he has it and can't believe his strength!
My future sister-in-law, Heather, for being such a wonderful partner to Jared! Many girls wouldn't have been able to handle what he's going through, but she stuck by him and loved him and took care of him more than I ever could have imagined! We're so lucky that he found her and that she's joining our family!!!

About me: Hi! I'm Becka. =o) So all about me? My life basically revolves around music, work, my friends, and most importantly, the love of my life: my husband, Brooks. I work for BCI in the Worcester school system. I'm an ABA therapist, meaning that I work one-on-one with autistic children. I've been doing it for years and years and I love it. On my free time, I'm obsessed with music. I mostly like indie rock, but I'm into anything as long as it's good music and done well. I'm also really into local music, especially since my husband's in 4 bands. (He's such a rock star!) He plays keyboards and sings in GoofyFoot, The Howl, and Hey Now...Morris Fader and he plays lead guitar and sings in Gutta. I would love to visit soon. IT's strange, but great to be a student again. If you and Brooks want to come to St. Louis sometime, you also should do that. Once I get a job and all settled in, we will all have to compare dates. Miss you both and hope you're doing well.
