Rockshow Productions was founded in 2002 to give local bands another outlet to play (and me somthing to do to stay involved). Through the course of that time we have had some fun times, met some good people and good bands. We have Booked bands from the eastern Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, New York, West Virginia, and Michigan. As well as well-established local and regional bands form all around the Pittsburgh and Erie areas. We continue to strive to bring you, the fans, or other bands looking to network some of the best music around. While we mainly focus on hard rock, metal, and hardcore, we have booked ,in the past: ska, punk, jam bands, blues, and acoustic acts. We support anyone who is out there working to make them selves better and trying to bring the best music they can to the fans that continually come to and support the local DIY shows.
Since we mostly focus on the harder genre's music if you are from a genre not near metal we will eagerly listen to your material but it is harder to book you on one of our shows. But we will work hard to send you to one of our affiliates and friends to try our best to get you a show.
Now I bet you guys in bands are wondering how we work. It is rare that I will book a band I haven't heard or seen. so usually no demos=no shows unless of course I've checked you out before. Please try to make a quality recording, unless you are amazing and have the recommendation of Ozzy himself you more than likely have a real shitty chance of getting booked, it is extremely unprofessional to try and get your band booked with the disclaimer "sorry for the shitty recording". There are studios that are as cheap as $20.00 an hour for a half decent recording, if you have even a minimum wage job their is no reason for a shitty recording.
Right now we primarily book at the Monaca VFW in Monaca Pennsylvania(45min north of Pittsburgh). We are not affiliated with them we just rent the hall from them.
Payment, based off of what we make at the door. Keep in mind we are trying to keep the shows cheap for the kids and music fans alike so on top of that we have to pay the VFW their Rental Fee and the sound guy his fee. What you make is based off of what is made after that. Email for further questions.

Dirty Jack’s is committed to making sure that you earn the money you deserve. We are capable of paying you more as a local band than any other venue you are currently working in the Greater Cincinnati, but we all need to work together to do it! This event was created to hear what we have to offer you and for you to offer up your suggestions and give us your feedback. We hope to plan more events similar to this on a regular basis.
This night is dedicated to the great musicians of our fair town and we offer you a chance to come in, drink cheap, interact with your local music community and see our club with no cover if you have not had the opportunity.
Dirty Jack’s is located at 5912 Vine St. in Elmwood Place, right in the middle of the 275 loop and 1 mile north of the P&G Ivorydale plant (St. Bernard Soap Company). Street parking is available as well as in the municipal lot located at the northwest corner of the club at Linden and Vine.
