I'm guessing you've never heard of me? Well, for starters, I'm Richie Stringini, a member of the five membered band called US5. You might know me, you might not. I'm about to tell you a little about myself to help you learn though, alright? Good. Like I said, my real name is Richie Stringini, you know, like Richie Rich and all that good stuff? Yeah, just don't call me that, and we'll be good. I'm 17 years old, born on November 28, 1988. I'm half German, half American, and all the orgins like that. The band US5 is a German band, and most of all our websites are in German, but hey, google is your friend. It translates stuff for you, and yes this does mean I can speak fluent German, but don't ask me to, okay? Thanks.
On to the facts, how about that? I started performing at the age of six, I was in commercials, and movies. One movie was called "Rule number one", not sure if you've heard of it, it was in 1994, somewhere around there. But before joining US5, I was on my way to becoming an actor. Like I said, many commercials, and I went to you wouldn't believe how many audtions, maybe it's because of my cute face? Kidding, kidding. I did most of the auditioning in California, but I was orignally born not in Germany, but in Illinois. I know, it's kind of weird to think about that but hey, I was on my way to an acting career. In some commercials I did say a few singing notes in when I was a bit older, then people realized I could sing. So, my friends and I created 'US5' to see if we could make it. And to our suprise, we did.
One thing people should know about me is that I'm very ambitious and professional. I never let anyone out do me in anything, I'm always up for the challenge, nothing can keep me down. Other than all that, I would be known as the comedian of the group, I keep everyone in a good cheerful mood for the performances and have everyone laughing by the time we're done. There is no dull moment around me, my band-mates will tell you that. Anyone who will listen to me I keep in stitch with my impersonations and my constant energy. Like the commercials say, red bull gives you wings. It really does, it makes you feel all energized and all that good stuff, right? Hell yeah.
On to my family, they're one thing that's the most important to me. I love my family, and I have an older brother. My family inspires me, because all of them can pretty much sing, and that's where I got the talent from. Don't ask me how I was entertaining people at the age of six, because only my mother can tell you. She amused everyone with me and my talents, but hey I'm not bragging or anything. She tried real hard to get me where I am today, and another saying 'Hard work pays off' and you gotta know that is true. You don't TRY if you know you can DO it. Trust me on this one, it's not as easy as it looks having all these responsibilities. You might think you want to do what we do, and other people do, it takes alot of work. Hey, the people on American Idol think they want to be like Kelly Clarkson, she can sing and I voted for her like ninety times, and she won. One person can make a difference, keep that in mind.
