Dildar - the lead singer and guiding light behind RSVP is a charismatic and fun loving man. He brings energy and huge stage presence to the band. His vocals are smooth and rich, but he has the strange ability to bring power and energy at the same time.
Jeevan is Dildar's eldest son and seems to have inherited Dildar's charisma and musical flare. He is an excellent keyboard player, but Jeevan's true skill is with Percussion..... be it drums, Dhol, Dholak or Tabla, Jeevan produces beats to die for! He is a key member of RSVP and provides lots of the original musical ideas.
Puggy is 1 hard core drummer! He learned to play the Tabla and Dholak as a child, but moved over to playing the Drums. He can play Bhangra, reggae, funk, DnB, hip-hop and is always providing the all important beat to keep the crowds dancing.
Judge plays the Bass guitar, as well as adding Rap to the RSVP mix. He's a crazy dancer mixing Bhangra moves with western quicksteps. He is a real Dr Jeckly and Mr Hyde - by day a mild mannered computer consultant, by night a funky party machine!
Cris is a phenomenal multi instrumentalist. Although he plays guitar with RSVP, he alos plays oud, mandolin, mandola, & banjo as well as being a singer. He's also into music production, and does music for art installations and circus shows. Check the link in our friends section.
Sarah is a talented musician who plays the Flute, Accordion, Violin and Cello in the band. She provides the sweet melodies and the dancy licks to make sure RSVP's music is interesting to ears (as well as the body!!).
Dom is the newest member of the team, playing electric viola and trombone. Guaranteed to be the funkiest (and loudest) viola player on planet Earth, full stop. No question.
Bhaga is very own mad, bad Dhol player. He is a master on the big drum, kicking up some crazy beats. The beats he plays are completely infecious and you just gotta dance to them!!

Sounds Like
Imagine traditional Bhangra lyrics and beats, with funky bass and drums, with East European Gypsy guitar thrown in....the your half way there. Then add a dash of Punk Rock, a top flight string section, some dhols, dholak, and tabla and you've got the flavour.
RSVP is the No 1 "Danceadelic Bhangra" band, spreading their own wild vibe far and wide across the land - and beyond - since the late 80's.
It's unique sound is a mix of classic Indian music fused with the very latest in the global music scene.
The vibe is based on traditional Bhangra music fused with the best from the global music scene. It's a unique mix of music, dance and performance.
RSVP pride themselves on producing a complete musical experience, from cutting edge dance tunes to music that takes the crowd on a journey to euphoric states of pleasure!
Also, a phenomenal and utterly unique event is to be held aboard The John Sebastian Lightship, moored in Bathurst Basin, Bristol..
A truly glamorous night, hailing back to the heady days of Vaudeville cabaret.
Join us to experience wonderful music, astounding magic, hearty mirth, and risqué burlesque at "Miss Cecily’s Salon"..
Tuneful delights from Miss Cecily and Los Chicos Traviesos. Magic, illusion and comedy from The Soft Cabaret. The "feathery charms" of Miss Lickity Splits, & big retro grooves (for most dance moves) from me.

RIPPLE EFFECT "Keeping things conscious and following up their rather eclectic and experimental album Roots All Sorts, the MDV have just birthed a dynamic and vivacious live sound. Once again seasoned with that grounded MDV rootsy signature, the essence of this album speaks commandingly yet beneficently. The songs illustrate the bands live proficiencies - a steady resonance of authentic Roots Reggae, very often abandoned by the sounds of today. Ripple Effect is an intelligent and fresh assemblage of brilliant tunes with a slice of instrumental experimentation. Enjoy!" -AMF68
