In my latest podcast, I read "We Will Have School," a chapter from my book, Spirit of Hope: The Year After the Joplin Tornado. The chapter details the events of just eight days after the tornado when Schools Superintendent C. J. Huff announced to employees, and the nation, that school would start on time just 87 days after 10 buildings were destroyed by the tornado.
